ISLAMABAD, Dec 30 (APP):National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Monday extended his congratulations to the newly elected officials of the Kashmir Jou
rnalist Forum (JKF).
In his congratulatory message, the NA Speaker extended his felicitations to the newly elected President Sardar Irfan Sadozai, General Secretary Maqsood Muntazir, Treasurer Imran Azam, Information Secretary Ali Naqvi, and the other office bearers.
He reaffirmed the parliament’s commitment to freedom of expression and press freedom, emphasizing the crucial role of jou
rnalists in strengthening democracy and upholding the Constitution. He commended the Kashmir Jou
rnalist Forum for its efforts in highlighting the Kashmir issue and expressed hope that the newly elected leadership would continue supporting the welfare of Kashmiri jou
rnalists.
The National Assembly Speaker pledged to introduce effective legislation for jou
rnalists’ welfare and hoped the new Kashmir Jou
rnalist Forum leadership will actively support the well-being of Kashmiri jou
rnalists. He also conveyed his best wishes to the newly elected KJF body.
